If you have been following this blog for a while now then you are well aware of the steady decline in content quality. I was aware too, and as Fred Jung played by the great Ray Liotta says it,
“Sometimes you’re flush & sometimes you’re bust, & when you’re up it is never as food as it seems, & when you’re down, you never think you’ll be up again, but life goes on”.
This encapsulates my relationship with creativity and the discipline required to perform. Creativity comes in seasons, waves, and fluctuates in intensity.
Fortunately, the tables have turned and I feel the inspiration rains coming down on my work yet again. Well, at least the tables have turned.
When I realized this downward decline I semi-spontaneously tried to resurrect myself, and the blog, by purchasing a Canon 50mm lens.
The images in this post have all been taken this week with the new lens. I am thoroughly enjoying this purchase and stoked about all the potential this investment has for the future. Life goes on, and so does the weekly blog, hope you enjoyed this week’s content!
